I have my basic (useless) g1 license for Ontario but I now need to get my G2 and G licenses (the full driving license) in the next two years before my license expires and I have to pay for everything all over again. I have been stalling on it because after driving school, I didn't graduate and I'm deathly afraid of driving and car accidents. My fiancee drives us in our car, but I know I cannot procrastinate any longer. I now have to pay for and put my mind to driving lessons to prepare me for the G2 Road Test. I have gone for one lesson for $25 and I did alright although my parallel parking was pathetic.
I think driving is a huge accomplishment and something I look forward too. I want to get over my autophobia and understand the workings of a vehicle. I marvel at the way my baby 3-point turns and reverse park, and I hope to be able to drive too. Heck, I might even get a second car (although insurance would kill us between the two of us). I think it'd be a nice relief for my fiancee for me to drive sometimes and give her a rest.
So, until I begin driving lessons again....I'll be practicing on GTA: IV: :D
